Five St. Patrick’s Day Wine Cocktails

Feb 27, 2026

What is Irish and sits on the porch? You’re going to have to read until the end to find out! It’s March which means our favorite drinking holiday–St. Patrick’s Day–is upon us! Whether you’re drinking with family, a few friends, or throwing a party, here are 5 wine cocktails that will keep you safe from getting pinched as long as you have them in hand!

Cucumber Mint Fizz

What you’ll need:

  • Half a cucumber
  • A handful of mint
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 4 oz sparkling wine
  • Ice

What you’ll do:

  • Start by making the cucumber juice. In a blender, process the cucumber, mint, and sugar. Use a strainer to pour the juice into a measuring cup, and pour 2 oz into a wine glass full of ice.
  • Add 4 oz of your favorite sparkling wine, and garnish with cucumber slices, mint and serve!

Supergreen Wine Smoothie

What you’ll need:

  • 6 oz Sweet white wine (the sweeter the better!)
  • 3 kale leaves (or your favorite green leaf)
  • 1 green apple
  • 15 green grapes
  • Ice

What you’ll do:

  • Combine and blend all of the ingredients in a blender. Strain the mixture into a large bowl, and chill until you’re ready to serve (we recommend straining a few times).
  • Serve over ice to get your daily serving of fruit AND your daily serving of wine!

St. Patrick’s Day Sangria

What you’ll need:

  • 1 bottle Sweet white wine (again, the sweeter the better!)
  • 2-3 oz of Cointreau
  • 1 cubed green apple
  • A handful of sliced green grapes
  • Ice

What you’ll do:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and store in the fridge for 3 hours or as long as overnight.
  • Serve over ice!

Shamrock Champagne

What you’ll need:

What you’ll do:

  • Before making this drink, chill the Midori and sparkling wine overnight.
  • Pour the Midori into a Champagne flute and fill the rest of the glass with sparkling wine. It’s that easy!
  • If you’re feeling really fancy, throw a couple honeydew melon balls in for a garnish!

Leprechaun Mimosa

What you’ll need:

What you’ll do:

  • Combine orange juice and wine in a Champagne flute, pour a splash of Blue Curacao on top, and serve with an orange slice for a garnish if desired!

Or, if you are my mom, mix in a few drop of green food dye into your favorite white wine. Her favorite is our Toast to Best Friends Blend white blend.

So, what’s Irish and sits on the porch?! Paddy O’Furniture!
(Hold on Spokane, these cold Winter days are almost through!)

Cheers,
Natalie
